Ryan is graduating with honors from The College of New Jersey in December 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Ryan’s interest in finance began when his father, who has worked in the industry for 30 years, opened a custodian account and helped Ryan build a diversified portfolio. During the summers, Ryan works in a Client Service Specialist role at an independent branch of Charles Schwab. Ryan is active in academic research. He gained extensive knowledge of various aspects of banking business, bank Call Reports data and macroeconomic data, Ryan is skilled in data preparation and statistical analysis using MS Excel and SAS. With the support of his mentors, Ryan has passed the Securities Industry Essentials exam and plans to pursue portfolio management after graduation. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys investing, reading, and playing poker. A few of his favorite books include: Atlas Shrugged, Too Big To Fail, and Liar’s Poker.
Nikola is a Senior at The College of New Jersey graduating in May of 2021 with a Major in Economics and a Minor in Mathematics. Nikola has a passion for data analysis; having already completed the SAS Base Essentials 1 course, he plans to take the Base Essentials 2 course this upcoming winter. His interest in data analysis stemmed from his mother’s influence, who has used SAS in her professional career for over 25 years. During his own personal time, Nikola loves reading current financial news and fiction novels. His two favorite authors are Malcolm Gladwell and J.K. Rowling. He also enjoys exercising and playing blackjack.
